Nicole Bachtel is an aspiring communication professional. She is currently enrolled at Otterbein University and is majoring in Journalism and Media Communication while minoring in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography. Nicole has worked with the Tan and Cardinal Magazine, a student run magazine, as a photographer.

Nicole stated her college journey in the fall of 2016 after graduating from Centennial High School. During her high school career, Nicole was inducted into the National Honor Society and was the editor for the school’s yearbook. She was in charge of editing, design, photos and writing articles for the yearbook.

Recently, Nicole started an internship with the OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks. She has been developing her skills in writing, photography, videography, editing, social media and overall communication. Nicole is able to manage her time effectively to produce well-rounded content.

Photography and figure skating are just a couple of Nicole’s passions. She has been skating for more than ten years. Among her skating career, Nicole has worked along side with the Columbus Blue Jackets as an ice crew member.
